Did you see us flying by during Gamescom? That was because we were blown away by the awesome presentation of Bethesda!

The first part of said presentation was all about the long-awaited sequel to the awesome 2012 action game Dishonored 2. Well, I say action, because although you could play it very stealthily, I chose to NOT follow that particular pathÖ and this decision cost me dearly! Nevertheless, it was a truly awesome experience and I loved playing it to death! Now, a mere four years later, we can finally hope to see a sequel to this fantastic game in the foreseeable future!

And whatís more; not only can you choose to play as Corvo Attano, but the princes of the first Dishonored game, Emily Kaldwin, is also a playable character. Emily has some awesome powers, which can really help you, if you are willing to play the game in a more stealthy way. The one I thought was the most impressive was a shadow attack. In first person view, youíll see your black, smoke-like shadow arms which help you get around unseen. If, however, you choose to play as Corvo, youíre able to take a more aggressive approach.

Dishonored 2 introduces non-lethal combat moves, and still features the "chaos" system used in the first game. And a funny fact: the game can be played without actually murdering someone. HmmÖ I donít think that is something Iím going to try, but what the hell! So for you sneaky bastards out there; I think I hear a challenge here! Dishonored 2 will be released on November 11, 2016 for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

The second part of the presentation was reserved for a remake of a golden oldie. The upcoming action/shooter game Prey is inspired by the 2006 game with the same name. In this reboot of what will hopefully be a brand new series, we take the role of Morgan Yu, a human aboard a space station filled with many, many hostile aliens. To survive, the player guides Yu on his quest to collect and use weapons and resources aboard the station to fend off and defeat the aliens.

But here come the tricky part (and also the part that just might scare the beejesus out of you sometimes): The aliens have an array of different powers; For instance, the aliens have the ability to mimic everyday items, such as a chair or something of that ilk. But, thereís also good news; you also can gain this power during the game.

Who would have ever guessed that there would be a game that offers you the opportunity to transform into a chair or a litter bin and, in this form, sneak up on your enemies for a surprise attack? Well, we surely didnít! Alas, it will take a while before we can witness the game in all its awesomeness; Prey will be released somewhere in 2017.

Well, no matter what happens, we can be certain that Bethesda has two fantastic games lined up for us in 2017. So, basically, it's going to be awesome, no matter what!
